Meet the Doctor

Hard work, faith and determination are the values that were instilled in Dr. Secora Lambert (ChiroBae) at an early age so adversity has never stood a chance with her. In high school, the West Covina, California native was a top athlete in volleyball, basketball and track and field who was often featured in the local newspaper and recruited by top Ivy League and competitive NCAA colleges. When she blew out her knee in a basketball game, the recruiters stopped calling and those around her doubted if she’d ever come back. Not only did she come back and secure a track and field scholarship to Cal State Los Angeles but she also found her after-sports passion in chiropractic care. 

 As she pursued becoming a chiropractor at Life University in the Atlanta metro area, she drew on her values of hard work, faith and determination to get it done. For over thirteen years now, Dr. Lambert and the Lambert Chiropractic and Wellness Center, P.C. has served the larger DeKalb community in the Atlanta metro area. That has included leading various initiatives like the one with Edward L. Bouie, Sr. Traditional Theme School where she educated the community, staff and parents on the importance of proper nutrition, good stress management, optimal hydration, weekly fitness classes and quality chiropractic care. 

 Her efforts have not gone unrecognized. In March 2018, SCOREMentors, an organization that has mentored small businesses for over 50 years, named Dr. Lambert as one of two Georgia winners and102 nationally of its fifth annual American Small Business Championship supported by Sam’s Club. On top of that, City of Stonecrest Mayor Jason Lary, Sr. and District 2 Council Member Rob Turner presented her with a proclamation recognized Lambert Chiropractic and Wellness Center as one of the city’s top businesses while also declaring June 18, 2018 Lambert Chiropractic and Wellness Day. 

 That she has built her business and community success while also serving as a loving wife, mother of two and grandmother of one is even more remarkable. But then again her life has been a testament that hard work, faith and determination always win in the end.
